Hooray! The 3 Color Cashmere Shawl is off the needles. Now all I have to do is block it so that it will lay nice and flat and not curl up around the edges. I think it turned out pretty nice as far as the design goes. I don't know if I would make another of the same design or not. I'm ready to make more shawls but each one different. I'm still working on the Boneyard Shawl by Stephen West. I'm pretty sure I will be starting the "All's Well That Ends Well" Shawl tomorrow evening.
The weather has been really nice this past week but I think we are in for a cooling-down trend for a short spell. The magnolia trees, forsythias, and daffodils are in full bloom right now so it's getting very colorful again. ~~~ There are a few buildings in town that could be inspirations for a couple of knitting designs. I need to get out and take some pictures of them, study them for a bit, and figure out what items could be based on those buildings. I'm thinking that a wrap would be easy enough to design or maybe a scarf. ~~~ I have been trying to hold off on buying more yarn but that's kind of hard to do because all that yarn is just so irresistible!! I have one shawl in the works, another one that I will be starting soon, an already started wrap that needs to be worked on, and then the summer top that needs to be finished. Nah. I don't need to buy more yarn. Yeah, right!! ~~~
